As co-equal, it is vital that we understand the essence of shared responsibility. As co-equal, our authority and responsibility should be coterminous, that is to say, we are exactly equivalent in scope and power. Our role as co-equal can be depicted in the kind of work that we do. Even if we have different designation with our co-equals, our individual tasks are connected with one another. Thus, it is important that we know how to communicate properly with all of our co-equals so we can collate our ideas in the successful accomplishment of our common goal. We should encourage one
another in order for us to develop confidence and build trust among each other. It is important that as co-equals, we should respect each other’s opinion about work or other things that maybe related with the tasks that are being given to us. Teamwork is very important among co-equals, and being in one team, it is expected of us to share the same goal, same commitment, and same accountability. As a co-equal, it is anticipated that we know how to adjust so that we can work harmoniously and effectively in the workplace.
